About
Evelyn Johnson
I
never really expected to wind up in Real Estate. I got my Bachelor's Degree
from BYU in Education, and after teaching elementary school here in Utah
County for a while, I started selling real estate. After a while, I found
real estate was a better fit for me than education.
I guess I come by it naturally. My father, John, retired from the Air
Force in the 50s, and he went into sales. My dad sold pretty much everything.
First and foremost, he sold insurance. He was a professional insurance
saleman, and he did well at it. He taught me to do your homework before
a sale, and take care of your customers after the sale is over. On the
side, dad bought old cars, fixed them up, and then resold them. And, he
did the same with houses and lots. Dad would buy houses, fix them up,
and sell them at a profit. He'd also buy and sell land; some of that land
is still owned by my family, years later. My dad passed away over ten
years ago, but my mom is still going strong at 84. A master
gardener, my mom taught me to care for people, and plants alike.
My
husband Rand and I are the parents of six children.
Our
family has been living in Utah County for our entire married life. We're
active in church and civic affairs. This is our home, and I'm proud to
be able to help you find the best real estate in the Valley.
